I wanted the second version of my personal website to be somewhere I
could advertise myself and my projects. Visitors should walk away
with knowledge of who I am, what values I hold, what projects I've
published, and what languages and libraries I've used.
The information on my resume should almost be completely separate
from the information on this website. This is one aspect of my
original website that I really disliked. If a potential employer
wants to see resume information, they could very easily ask me for a
resume, or look at my LinkedIn profile.
In addition to that, I also wanted to practice using plain
HTML/CSS/JavaScript (except the Bootstrap CSS library). I haven't
worked with these plain languages for a long time, and it was nice
to have a refresher.
